General English

We offer courses from complete beginner to proficiency. We have 8 broad level bands which are split into shorter 43-hour sessions. These courses aim to improve your grammar and vocabulary as well as your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Business English

If you need to use English at work or you are interested in broadening your general business knowledge, then perhaps a Business English course is for you. In the Professional English courses, language and skills are developed in the context of current business topics and issues. The courses include grammar, vocabulary and business skills to help you learn the communication skills you need at work quickly and effectively.

These are usually short courses offered either intensively or extensively that deal with specific business skills. Courses offered include (but are not limited to):

Exam preparation courses

Do you need to take an exam to enter university or to emigrate? Or maybe you just want to official recognition of the progress you have made? Then why not take an internationally recognised English language test?

University of Cambridge ESOL examinations

If you pass this, you are at near-native speaker competence and are perhaps thinking of a career as an English teacher. See CELTA for more details.

All the above exams are pass/fail exams and certificates are valid for life. Information about exam dates can be found here.

University entrance

TOEFL iBT

Many English universities in Lebanon require a TOEFL score to support your application. There is no TOEFL level; TOEFL is graded on a scale and you have to achieve the score required by your university. Check with the university admissions office to find out the score you need. A TOEFL score is only valid for two years.
